An affordable hotel with easy access to the centre of Stockholm with friendly/helpful staff.
Although a little outside the city, which is what makes the hotel affordable, it is right beside the commuter train station with very regular trains that take you into the centre of Stockholm in less than 10 minutes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable and the fold down bed works very well for a child.
The bed was very soft/sunken down which meant it was hard to sleep at times. I know this is a basic room at a reasonable price, but a kettle to boil water would be very much appreciated.

Budget friendly but pleasant hotel
It was so easy to get in and out of town. The staff were really really helpful and friendly. For the price the room was bigger than expected and the shower was amazingly powerful, I will miss the shower
The bed was really poor. It was so incredibly soft that it provided no support at all and was on the smaller side. We considered if we would move to another hotel as a result but in the end stayed as we slept well enough and no pain in backs etc when waking up.

What was the highlight of Motel L Stockholm Älvsjö
The distance to the touristic centers we wanted to visit was 40 minutes by walking, but near station
It is a facility outside the tourist centers, but it was very close to the metro station for transportation. It was 200-300 meters. There could be boiled eggs for breakfast. Breads and cakes were very nice. The yoghurt was like local Turkish village yoghurt. Price can be evaluated as performance. It was unpleasant that many cars staying at the facility were making noise and smoking electronic cigarettes. But when I reported it to the officer, he immediately warned me. Fire safety measures were very good.
Our room was cold, they gave us an electric oil heater. We carried our belongings ourselves. The breakfast variety was not sufficient, there was no white cheese and eggs.
